在UCFV，您可以踏实地迈出投身教育、法律、医药、兽医、口腔卫生、理疗和其它众多领域的第一步。尽管医药预科、牙医预科和法律预科并非UCFV的主修学科，但UCFV能提供各种专业和领域的课程，使您具备申请进入各类专业学院就读所需的专业背景知识。

就读于UCFV的学生们还有机会参加各类课外活动，例如志愿者计划与领导能力培训计划等——这些活动非常重要，因为专业学院在录取时，不仅会考虑申请者的大学学习成绩和入学考试分数，而且还要参考其性格、阅历和领导能力等。 

In Canada and in the USA, entrance to many professional schools including law and medicine have a minimum educational requirement for entry of three years of undergraduate study. Most applicants, in reality, however, have at least a bachelor’s degree, and many have advanced degrees. You can begin your studies toward a career in teaching, law, medicine, veterinary medicine, dental hygiene, physiotherapy and many other professions at UCFV. Although pre-med, pre-dentistry and pre-law are not majors at UCFV, UCFV does offer majors and areas of study that will give you the right background you need to apply to these and other professional schools.
Students attending UCFV also have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities such as volunteer and leadership programs — important options as many professional schools consider an applicant’s character, experience and leadership qualities in addition to school grades and admissions test scores.
